My GGGrandfather James Drummond arrived in Melbourne Australia on the 18/8/1848 with his wife. He was born in 1822 in Crieff and married Lillias Curry in 1846.  They travelled on a ship called "Cheapside".

In 1854 it would appear they went back to Scotland and returned with John Drummond and Sophia nee Stewart- James parents. Sophia was born in Fortingall in 1794 and her death certificate says she came from Rannoch. Her parents were John and Jean Stewart. Other children were James b ?, Alex b 1796 , Peter b 1798, Isobel b 1801, and Clemantina b 1804

James was a plumber in Melbourne and had 2 sons Robert Currie-Drummond and John.
